FiberQA Blog

This year has been the biggest yet for FiberQA. We launched not just one or two, but THREE  innovative fiber optic inspection systems with built in cleaning: the AVIT-CH, AVIT-BP, and AVIT-RH. In 2017, we attended several industry events, presented research, including a ground-breaking repeatability study with Lockheed Martin, and gained many valued employees, including our new President. We’re not sure how we can top a year like that, but we are going try!

In 2018, we will continue to attend industry events and trade shows around the world, including OFC in San Diego (March 13-15), and ECOC in Rome (Sept 24-26). At each show, we will give live demonstrations on our products, including our FastMT and AVIT-DT systems, as well as some of our recently launched robotic, probe-style fiber scopes with built-in cleaning (AVIT-BP & AVIT-RH). 

This coming year, we will begin hosting a series of webcasts to introduce our systems to those who can’t demo them live. This will give manufacturing companies as far as the other side of the world an opportunity to see our high-throughput AVIT-2020 system in operation without having to leave their own offices. We will also dive deeper into specific topics and best practices using both the FastMT and AVIT software for those who already have a system and need additional training, or for those who want to get to know our systems better before buying one (or two or fifty!). Attendees can ask questions that will be answered by an experienced team of engineers and technical support members. 

Even though we have launched several products this year, FiberQA is a company of innovation. We will continue to research customer and supply chain pain points, and find ways to address them with our hands-on, consultative approach that is unlike any other company in the industry. We will also be conducting more studies, and presenting more data about the efficiency and reliability of our systems in every scenario they are put to work in, giving you piece of mind that your quality control process is the best it can be with the help of FiberQA's systems.

The end of a year always brings a great deal of reflection, and we want to make sure we acknowledge each and every blessing that has come our way. Thank you to our reps and distributors who have become an extension of our company around the world, as well as an extension of the FiberQA family. Thank you to our customers because truly, where would we be without you? We can't wait to continue working together in the next year and many years to come. We want to especially thank all of our staff at FiberQA for their tireless efforts and boundless ingenuity. From Admins to HR, R&D to Production, and all of our Mechanical and Software Engineers...you make an incredible team that we could not be more proud of! We are so blessed and proud to be a small business that develops and manufactures all of our systems here in the United States, which gives us the opportunity to employ and enrich the community right here at home in Southeastern Connecticut. 

We are excited to see what this next year will bring for all of us, and hope it will have as many, if not more, blessings in store for our company, our distributors, and our customers.
