Job Description 
 
This position includes responsibility for the design, development, test, integration and documentation of software for LabVIEW based products for inspection and cleaning of fiber optics connectors.
 
 
Skills
  • Development of applications using LabVIEW software tools, with an emphasis on machine vision and motion control
  • Test and integration of software and hardware solutions
  • Project scheduling
  • Some interface with customers and some travel may be required
 Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of LabVIEW development
  • Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer (CLAD) or equivalent knowledge level
  • Perforce experience a plus
  • Electrical and mechanical knowledge a plus

We are searching for a Customer Service/Field Engineer with a creative and analytical mind to work on our robotic inspection and cleaning systems. This job requires self-motivation, focus and a can-do attitude, with interpersonal skill and a strong determination toward customer satisfaction.
 
 
 
Skills
  • A wide range of technical ability and understanding, both mechanically and electronically.
  • Experience with motion and vision systems.
  • Electrical engineering background, preferably degreed.
  • 5 years' experience in the field servicing instrumentation for commercial and military customers.
  • Knowledge of Office Suite products. Basic software capability - LabVIEW preferable.
 
Travel
  • In addition to working at our Old Lyme facility, we expect travel to be 10% international and 25% domestic.

Skills
  • Strong instrumentation production and product management skills.
  • Ability to ensure the efficient and timely production of goods.
  • Analyze production and quality control to detect and correct problems.
  • Understanding of instrumentation systems.
  • Ability to manage small lot in house production of Alpha and Beta stage products.
  • Ability to schedule and coordinate remote, on-shore contract manufacturing.
 
Experience
  • 5+ years' experience in manufacturing operations.
  • 2+ years' experience in supervisory capacity.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, OrCAD, and Excel.
 
Additional Beneficial Experience (Not required)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience in the motion control industry.
  • Prior experience with small lot production of military spec instrumentation.
