The jet-lag and daylight savings time change has worn off, but we're still riding high after last week's IEEE Photonics Society hosted AVFOP show in Long Beach, CA! We want to thank the coordinators for putting together yet another exciting and beneficial event. We were able to showcase products and systems to a targeted group of important industry-influencers in the military and aerospace markets. Having such a focused audience allows us to make quality connections during the three day show, as well as keep up-to-date on the latest technology available.
We gave demonstrations on both our FastMT-200x and desktop AVIT-dt. Since our audience is based in the Mil-Aero market, we concentrated on showcasing how our automated fiber scopes can inspect and clean circular connectors, such as the Mil-38999. While FastMT is a single connector fiber scope, AVIT-dt can inspect multiple connectors within a 5"x5" inspection window. FiberQA is transforming how the industry tackles these unique inspection and cleaning challenges, while still providing unrivaled automated processing. We met a lot of great people at AVFOP who are interested in our automated test equipment for a variety of fiber optic connectors. We can provide repeatable, reproducible, reliable QA to your supply chain as well!
We can’t wait till next year’s AVFOP show in New Orleans, where we will be debuting our more portable AVIT models for inspecting and cleaning in the most constrained of spaces found aboard aircraft and shipboards. See you in the Big Easy!
